Berlin, Germany, Juni 14, 2022: Shiji, the global hospitality technology innovator, has today announced that Wolfgang Emperger recently joined the company as Senior Vice President in a newly created role that combines the regions of Europe, Africa and the UK & Ireland together.

Herr Emperger wird das Geschäft von Shiji in den Regionen weiter ausbauen und die Servicequalität, für die das Unternehmen bekannt ist, vorantreiben. Er übernimmt die volle Verantwortung über Vertrieb, Account Management, Kundenservice und Support in den Regionen.

Shiji beschäftigt über 750 Mitarbeiter in den Regionen und arbeitet mit über 29,000 Hotels zusammen, darunter führende Unternehmen wie IHG, The Peninsula Hotels, Radisson, Minor Hotels, Mandarin Oriental, Ruby Hotels, Sircle Collection und viele mehr. Herr Emperger kommt von HRS zu Shiji, wo er als Vice President für Sales and Marketing EMEA fungierte. Davor war er 11 Jahre bei Infor als Vice President für Infor Hospitality in EMEA tätig.  

Herr Emperger bringt 25 Jahre Erfahrung im Gastgewerbe mit (unter anderem in leitenden Positionen bei Marriott Hotels, Cendyn, Netviewer und Amadeus Hospitality Solutions) und absolvierte zuvor ein MBA-Studium an der Henley Business School in Großbritannien. Des Weiteren verfügt er über einen Abschluss in Hotelmanagement der Hotelfachhochschule Bad Wörishofen in Deutschland.
